You have three routes: a free plan, a one-time pass, or one month of a subscription that you cancel afterwards. Aitho's Free plan is $0 with no card and includes the script that follows your voice. If you want everything for one event, the Aitho Speech Pass is $29 one-time for 30 days of Presenter Pro access, with no subscription and nothing to cancel. If your speech has no slides and you only need the script to scroll, Speakflow's one-time Plus Pass starts at $12 for 7 days (Speakflow's Plus Pass page, checked 5 November 2026).
Start with what the speech needs
A toast, a eulogy or a short address needs one thing: your words in front of you, moving at your pace. A talk with slides needs more. The slides have to change at the right moment, and you may want help with the questions afterwards.
Decide which one you are giving before you compare prices. The cheapest option that fits is different for each.
Route 1: a free plan
Free plans differ in how much voice-following they include, so check the limit before you rely on one.
- Aitho Free is $0 and needs no card. It includes the script that follows your voice, your own PDF or PowerPoint, spoken slide commands, and three private answers to try. See the pricing page.
- Speakflow Free is $0 with no credit card required, and lists Flow, its voice-activated scrolling, at 10 minutes a month (Speakflow pricing, checked 5 November 2026).
If a free plan covers your rehearsals and the day itself, you are done. You do not need to pay anyone.
Route 2: a one-time pass
A pass is a single payment for a fixed number of days. Nothing renews, so there is nothing to cancel.
| Pass | Price | How long | What it unlocks |
|---|---|---|---|
| Aitho Speech Pass | $29 one-time | 30 days, starting when you redeem your code | Presenter Pro access |
| Speakflow Plus Pass | $12, $24 or $59 one-time (Speakflow's Plus Pass page, checked 5 November 2026) | 7, 30 or 90 days | The same features as Speakflow Plus |
Speakflow's 7-day and 30-day passes cost less than the Speech Pass. If your speech has no slides and you only need a script that scrolls with your voice, that is the cheaper choice. The Speech Pass is worth the difference when you are presenting slides or expect questions.
Route 3: one month of a subscription, then cancel
This works with most teleprompter apps, as long as you remember to cancel.
- PromptSmart's Starter Pack is $9.99 a month on its pricing page, and the PromptSmart+ app subscription is $8.99 a month in the US App Store (checked 5 November 2026).
- Speakflow Plus is $19 a month when billed monthly (Speakflow monthly pricing, checked 5 November 2026).
- Aitho Pro is $39 a month and Presenter Pro is $79 a month. You can cancel at any time, and the plan keeps working until the end of the period you paid for. See the pricing page.
For a plain script with no slides, a month of PromptSmart or Speakflow costs less than a month of Aitho. Whichever you pick, set a reminder to cancel on the day you subscribe.
What the Aitho Speech Pass is
The Speech Pass is for one event. It costs $29 one-time and gives you 30 days of Presenter Pro access. There is no subscription and nothing to cancel.
Aitho's Free plan already includes the script that follows your voice, and slides that advance on their own as you reach each slide's words. The pass adds Presenter Pro for 30 days. For a single event, the parts that matter most are:
- The private Q&A practice drill, without the free limit. Ask the questions you expect and get an answer drawn from your own slides and documents, on your screen only. Free includes three answers to try. Presenter Pro is unlimited.
- Web lookups. For a question your material does not cover, Aitho may use a web search.
- AI script drafts from your slides, which you then edit into your own words.
- A readiness check before you go on.
It works in a web browser, on iPhone, iPad and Android, and in a desktop app for Mac and Windows that is in beta. Everything in Presenter Pro is listed on the pricing page.
How the Speech Pass works
The pass code is sent by a person, not by an automatic system, so allow time for it.
- Create a free account at aitho.app first.
- Pay $29 for the Speech Pass. It is a one-time payment.
- After payment, we email you a pass code, usually within one business day. It is sent by a person, not instantly.
- Redeem the code at present.aitho.app/redeem while signed in.
- Your 30 days start when the code is redeemed, not when you pay.
Because the code is not instant, buy the pass a few days before you want to start rehearsing. If your speech is tomorrow, start on the Free plan now. It already includes the script that follows your voice.

If you would rather have the preparation done for you
Talk Ready is a one-time service for one upcoming talk. We turn your deck into a script that follows your voice, load the notes you want answers from, and review your rehearsal. It is $300, or $750 with a live rehearsal call, or $1,500 for a team of up to five. Details are on the Talk Ready page.
When another option is the better choice
- Your speech has no slides and you need a prompter for a week. Speakflow's 7-day Plus Pass costs less than the Speech Pass.
- You want to record yourself on video. Speakflow Plus includes recording. Aitho does not record video.
- You may not have a connection. PromptSmart says its speech recognition runs on your device and does not require the internet (promptsmart.com, checked 5 November 2026).
- You present every month. A subscription is simpler than buying a pass each time.
Before the day
- Rehearse out loud with your real script at least once, on the device you will use.
- Check the connection where you will speak. In the Aitho app on iPhone and iPad, following your script works offline. Elsewhere, plan for a connection. The security page says where your voice goes on each device.
- Know the rules. If the event is judged or has rules about assistance, such as a competition or a defense, follow those rules on the day. Rehearsing with a teleprompter is always fine.
Your slides, script and documents are not used to train models, and you can delete them yourself or ask us to. The security page has the details.
Prices for other products come from each company's own pages, checked 5 November 2026: Speakflow's pricing, monthly pricing and Plus Pass pricing pages, and PromptSmart's pricing page, homepage and US App Store listing. Plans and prices change, so confirm on their pages before you decide.

A one-time $29 payment for 30 days of Presenter Pro access, meant for one event. There is no subscription and nothing to cancel.
How quickly do I get the Speech Pass code?
After payment, we email you a pass code, usually within one business day. It is sent by a person, not instantly, so buy the pass a few days before you want to start rehearsing.
When do the 30 days of the Speech Pass start?
When the code is redeemed, not when you pay. Create a free account at aitho.app first, then redeem the code at present.aitho.app/redeem while signed in.
Do I need the Speech Pass to rehearse one speech with Aitho?
No. The Free plan is $0 with no card and includes the script that follows your voice, your own PDF or PowerPoint, and three private answers to try.
Does Aitho work for a speech with no slides?
Aitho attaches your script to slides, so make a simple PDF with one page per part of the speech, such as Opening, Story and Close, and put the words for each part in that page's script.
Start free, then decide
