Use Aitho in Perplexity.

Got a talk, pitch or defense coming up and already research it in Perplexity? Add Aitho as a connector and Perplexity can turn your deck into a talk, write your speaker script slide by slide, and help you practise the questions. Then you rehearse out loud in Aitho, where the script follows your voice and the slides move as you speak.

Connect Aitho to Perplexity

Custom remote connectors are available on Perplexity Pro, Max and Enterprise. On Enterprise, an admin may need to allow them first.

1. In Perplexity, open Account settings → Connectors, choose + Custom connector, then Remote.
2. Name: Aitho. MCP Server URL: https://present.aitho.app/mcp. Authentication: OAuth. Transport: Streamable HTTP. The description and icon are optional.
3. Acknowledge Perplexity's custom-connector notice and click Add. Then click the Aitho connector card to connect: an Aitho sign-in page opens. Sign in, choose Everything it asked for (or Read-only to let it read your talks without changing them), and click Allow. Don't have an account? Create a free account.
4. Turn the Aitho connector on in a new thread and ask something like “List my Aitho talks” or “Show me the speaker script for slide 1”.

The permission page names Perplexity (access goes to www.perplexity.ai). As with any connection, allow it only if you started it from Perplexity yourself.

Sign-in uses OAuth, so Perplexity doesn't see your Aitho password. You can disconnect at any time from Perplexity's connector settings or from Aitho's Settings.

What you can do from Perplexity

• Create a talk from a deck that's already on the web. You can also import any PDF or PowerPoint in the Aitho app and then work on it from Perplexity.
• Write or edit your speaker script for each slide, in your own words.
• List your talks and read a talk's slides and script.
• Add private Q&A documents and practise the questions you expect; answers come from your own material.
• Start a presentation, then open the talk in Aitho to rehearse out loud.

Try asking: “Write a speaker script for each slide of my talk, about 30 seconds per slide” or “Ask my Q&A what the budget covers.”

What it needs

• Any Aitho plan can list and read talks, rehearse the private Q&A, and run a presentation.
• On the free plan you can create one talk from your AI assistant, and write its script and add its Q&A documents. Creating more talks, or changing other talks, from your assistant needs Presenter Pro. See pricing. Decks can always be imported in the Aitho app.
• Decks can be PDF, PowerPoint (.pptx or .ppt), or a Gamma link. Q&A documents can be PDF, Word, TXT, Markdown or CSV.

Every tool is described on Aitho in Claude; the connector is the same one.

Your data

The connector reads and changes what each tool describes, nothing more, and acts on your own account's talks. What Aitho returns to Perplexity (talk titles, slide text, scripts, answers) is then handled by Perplexity under Perplexity's terms. Inside Aitho, your slides, scripts and documents are handled exactly as in the Aitho app; the full details are on Security & privacy and in the Terms & Privacy.
