Aitho

Start here

From sign-up to your first rehearsal.

Two ways in. Use Aitho from the AI assistant you already work in, or open the Aitho app and import your deck. Either way, you end up rehearsing out loud with your script following your voice.

1. Use Aitho from your AI assistant

Aitho works as a connector in any AI tool that supports remote MCP servers. One URL works everywhere:

https://present.aitho.app/mcp

It uses Streamable HTTP and signs you in with OAuth. Your tool registers itself with Aitho automatically, so there is no client ID or secret to paste. You sign in to Aitho in your browser and approve access; your assistant never sees your Aitho password. You can disconnect any time.

Aitho Settings, Connectors panel: the connection URL https://present.aitho.app/mcp with Copy connection URL and Test connection buttons.
  1. Your connector URL
  2. Copy it
  3. Check it works

Add Aitho to your tool

Steps checked against each tool's official documentation on October 3, 2026. Menus change; if yours looks different, search your tool's help for "custom connector" or "MCP server".

Claude claude.ai and the Claude desktop app In the directory

From the directory:

  1. Click Customize in the left sidebar, then open the Connectors tab and choose Discover.
  2. Find Aitho and click Connect.
  3. Sign in to Aitho when asked, and approve.

Or add it by URL: in Customize → Connectors, click + Add → Add custom connector, name it Aitho, paste the URL, click Continue, keep the recommended OAuth option, and click Add.

In a chat: click + at the lower left → Connectors, and switch Aitho on.

Custom connectors work on every Claude plan; the Free plan allows one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise, an owner may need to add Aitho under Organization settings → Connectors first.

ChatGPT Coming soon

Aitho is in review for ChatGPT's Plugins directory. Once it is listed:

  1. Open Plugins in the ChatGPT sidebar and choose Aitho.
  2. Select Install plugin, then Connect, and sign in to Aitho.
  3. In a chat, mention @Aitho or pick it from +.

We'll update this page the day it goes live.

Cursor
  1. Add Aitho to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (all projects) or .cursor/mcp.json (one project):
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "aitho": {
      "url": "https://present.aitho.app/mcp"
    }
  }
}
  1. Open Customize in the Cursor sidebar, make sure aitho is switched on, and sign in when Cursor opens your browser.
  2. Ask in the agent chat. Cursor asks before running a tool.
VS Code with GitHub Copilot
  1. Run MCP: Add Server from the Command Palette, or add this to .vscode/mcp.json (or your user configuration via MCP: Open User Configuration):
{
  "servers": {
    "aitho": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://present.aitho.app/mcp"
    }
  }
}
  1. Sign in to Aitho when VS Code opens your browser.
  2. In Copilot Chat, choose Agent mode and ask.

On Copilot Business or Enterprise, your administrator must allow MCP servers (the "MCP servers in Copilot" policy is off by default).

Devin Desktop formerly Windsurf
  1. Add Aitho to ~/.config/devin/mcp_config.json (Windows: %APPDATA%\devin\mcp_config.json):
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "aitho": {
      "url": "https://present.aitho.app/mcp",
      "transport": "http"
    }
  }
}
  1. When Aitho shows Needs auth, click Authenticate and sign in.

Still on the legacy Cascade agent? Use "serverUrl" instead of "url". On Enterprise, MCP must be turned on in settings.

Devin app.devin.ai
  1. Go to Customize → MCPs, open Add MCP and choose Add custom MCP.
  2. Name it Aitho, choose transport HTTP, paste the URL as the Server URL, and choose OAuth.
  3. Choose Personal access, save, then Connect and sign in. Start a new session to use it.

Adding custom servers needs the "Manage MCP Servers" permission in your Devin organization.

More tools Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Zed, Goose, Perplexity, Raycast, Copilot Studio
  • Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http aitho https://present.aitho.app/mcp, then run /mcp in a session to sign in.
  • Gemini CLI: gemini mcp add --transport http aitho https://present.aitho.app/mcp, then /mcp auth. In settings.json the key is "httpUrl".
  • Zed: Settings → AI → MCP Servers → Add Server → Add Remote Server, paste the URL. Zed prompts you to sign in.
  • Goose: Extensions → Add custom extension, type Streamable HTTP, paste the URL.
  • Perplexity: Account settings → Connectors → + Custom connector → Remote, paste the URL, Authentication OAuth, Transport Streamable HTTP. Your organization's admin may need to enable custom connectors.
  • Raycast (Pro): run Install MCP Server, transport HTTP, paste the URL, OAuth type Dynamic, then Sign In.
  • Microsoft Copilot Studio (for agent builders): Tools → Add a tool → New tool → Model Context Protocol, paste the URL, choose OAuth 2.0 → Dynamic discovery.

Then just ask

Once Aitho is connected, talk to your assistant normally. A few things to try:

“Here's my deck. Turn it into an Aitho talk and write a speaker script for each slide in my voice.”

Attach your PDF or PowerPoint to the message first.

“Add these documents to my talk so the private Q&A can answer questions about the technical details.”

Swap in security, clinical, pricing or whatever your audience will ask about. PDF, Word, TXT, Markdown or CSV.

“Build me a 6-slide presentation on [topic], then load it into Aitho as a talk with a script.”

Your assistant makes the slide file (where it can create files); Aitho takes the finished deck and turns it into a talk.

“Start my presentation and go to slide 3.”

Your assistant can also go to the next or previous slide while you present.

How your deck gets to Aitho. Your assistant asks Aitho for a private, single-use upload link (aitho_prepare_upload), sends the file straight to Aitho, and then creates the talk (aitho_create_talk). Nothing is published. Building a talk takes a minute or two; ask “Is my talk ready?” and your assistant checks. The talk then appears in your Aitho app, ready to rehearse. See every tool on Aitho in Claude.

Plans. On the free plan, you can create one talk from your AI assistant, and write its script and add its Q&A documents there. Creating more talks from your assistant needs Presenter Pro. Importing a presentation in the Aitho app is always free, and the free plan covers a rehearsal.

2. Use the Aitho app

The same account works on the web at present.aitho.app, on iPhone and on Android. The screenshots below are from the current web app on a computer and on a phone.

1Sign in

Open the app or create a free account. Choose Continue with Google, Continue with Apple, or Continue with email; with email we send you a 6-digit code.

2Import a presentation

On Presentations, click Import presentation. On a phone, tap Import on Talks.

3Add your script

Click your talk to open it. Under Speaker script, paste or type what you'll say on each slide and click Save script, or click Draft with AI to get a first draft from your slides. A script is optional, but Aitho follows your voice best with one. Only you see it while presenting.

4Add Q&A documents

In Cheat Sheet · reference documents, click Add reference document to add notes, a proposal, pricing or a spec. Your private Q&A answers from your slides and these documents. Optional: with none added, it answers from the deck itself.
