A teleprompter app for Windows helps with a sales demo when it keeps your words private on the slide sections and you have rehearsed the switch to the product and back. With Aitho you work in a browser on your Windows laptop: import the PowerPoint, rehearse the slide story out loud, then practise sharing the Audience Stage window, the product window and the slides again until each change takes seconds.
Map the demo before you rehearse
Write the running order on one page and mark each part as slides or product:
- Slides: the customer's situation and the problem you heard on the discovery call.
- Product: the two or three steps that solve that problem, in a click path you can repeat.
- Slides: results, pricing or next steps, as agreed with your team.
Pick the one capability that answers the customer's problem and leave the feature tour out. Every switch between slides and product is a moment to rehearse on its own.
Prepare the PowerPoint
Import a rehearsal copy of the .pptx (or a PDF export) and check what changes: animations may arrive as finished slides, and fonts that are not embedded may shift. The PowerPoint guide covers the import and what to check. Write one spoken section per slide, and end the last slide before each product section with the sentence that hands over: "Let me show you how that works."
Set up the Windows laptop
- Open Aitho in your browser at present.aitho.app; there is nothing to install. Allow the microphone when the browser asks.
- Load the product in its own window, signed in, with demo data ready and notifications off.
- Close anything you would not want a customer to see if the wrong window were shared.
Rehearse the handovers
- The slide story on its own. Rehearse the slide sections out loud until they fit the time.
- The product path on its own. Click through the product steps with a timer, saying what you would say.
- The switches. In a test meeting, share the Audience Stage window, stop, share the product window, stop, and share the Audience Stage window again. Have a colleague watch as an attendee and tell you what they saw at each change.
- An interruption. Ask your colleague to break in with a question during the product section. Answer, then find your way back to the next slide.
Plan a recovery
Keep screenshots of the product steps in a hidden backup slide in case the product misbehaves, and decide in rehearsal when you will switch to them. If the slides stop following your voice, move them by hand or say "next slide" and keep going. A printed running order beside the laptop covers the rest.
Rehearse the slide story with Aitho
- Import the deck. Sign in at aitho.app and import your PowerPoint (.pptx or .ppt) or a PDF. Aitho doesn't change your slides.
- Add the script. Paste what you'll say on each slide, or use Draft with AI for a draft that you edit into your own words (AI drafts are in Pro and Presenter Pro).
- Rehearse. Press Start and speak. The script follows your voice and each slide advances when you reach its words; spoken commands like "next slide" and "go to slide 3" also work.
- Present on the call. Open the Audience Stage window and share that window in your meeting, not your whole screen. Switching to the product is a separate share in your meeting app.
- Practise objections. Attach your pricing sheet or spec to the talk and type a likely question; a suggested answer from your own material appears on your screen. The free plan includes three to try.
See present on Zoom, Teams or Meet and help with questions.
Free to start: the free plan includes the voice-following script, your own PDF or PowerPoint (or the sample talk), any browser plus the iPhone and Android apps, spoken slide commands, and three private answers to try. Free needs no card. Current plans are on the pricing page.
Questions
Is there a teleprompter app for Windows?
Aitho runs in a browser, so on a Windows laptop you open present.aitho.app, import your PowerPoint or PDF and rehearse with a script that follows your voice. There is no Windows installer.
How do I show the product and the slides in one sales demo?
Share the Audience Stage window for the slide sections and the product window for the demo, switching with your meeting app's share controls. Rehearse each switch with a colleague watching.
Will the customer see my script?
Not if you share the Audience Stage window. Sharing your whole screen or the Presenter View would show your script.
What if the live product fails during the demo?
Switch to backup screenshots you prepared in the deck, and decide in rehearsal at what point you will do that.
