The short answer

Yoodli is an AI communication coach: you practise in realistic roleplays and get speaking analytics such as pacing and filler words, plus optional AI follow-up questions. Aitho is built around the slide deck you are about to present: your script follows your voice, your slides advance when you reach each slide's words, and a private copilot drafts answers to questions from your own deck and documents. If you want coaching and scored practice conversations, Yoodli is built for that. If you want to rehearse and deliver a specific slide talk, Aitho is built for that. The practical difference on the day: with Aitho you need no clicker and nobody has to wait for you to say "next slide."

Two kinds of practice

Some practice is about becoming a better speaker in general: pacing, filler words, handling a tough conversation. Other practice is about one specific talk next week: this deck, these transitions, these likely questions. Both matter, and the tools that help with each look different.

What Yoodli is built for

According to Yoodli's own site (checked October 6, 2026):

  • It describes itself as "private, real-time, and judgment-free roleplay coaching, powered by AI," with simulations that mimic real-world scenarios, including group presentations, buying committees and interview panels.
  • After a session it produces a speaking report with analytics such as pacing, conciseness and filler words, and suggestions to improve.
  • For public speaking practice, you can opt in to AI follow-up questions after you speak.
  • Teams can upload their own content and methodology, assign roleplays and track progress. Much of the site is aimed at sales enablement and training teams.
  • With Live Visual Content, an admin uploads slides, PDFs or images, and the AI presents and explains them during a roleplay before the learner practises.
  • Its pricing page lists a free Starter plan with five lifetime sessions, and paid individual plans.

What Aitho is built for

Aitho starts from the deck you already made and stays with you from rehearsal to the real talk.

  • Bring your slides as they are. Import a PDF or PowerPoint file. Keynote and Google Slides work by exporting to PDF or PowerPoint first. Aitho never edits your slides.
  • A first-draft script if you need one. Aitho can draft a first-pass speaker script from your slides, which you then edit into your own words. Or paste your own.
  • Your script follows your voice. The script scrolls as you speak and highlights the word you are on.
  • Slides advance as you reach their words. When you speak into the next slide's section, the slide moves, so you are not reaching for a clicker mid-sentence.
  • A private presenter view, a slides-only audience view. Your script and answers stay on your screen. The room or the call sees only your slides.
  • A private Q&A copilot. When a question comes, the copilot drafts an answer from your deck and the documents you attach, shown only on your screen.

Other tools help you build, rehearse or read a presentation. Aitho helps you deliver it.

When Yoodli is the better fit

  • You want an AI coach to score how you speak and track progress over time.
  • You practise conversations as much as talks: sales calls, interviews, difficult conversations.
  • You run training for a team and want assigned scenarios and reports.

When Aitho is the better fit

  • You have a specific slide talk coming up and want to rehearse that deck out loud until it flows.
  • You want your words in front of you on the day, without the audience seeing them, and the slides moving with you.
  • You want to prepare for the questions using the material behind your talk.

If your talk is judged or has rules about assistance (a pitch competition, a defense, an exam), check the rules first. Using Aitho to rehearse is always fine.

Frequently asked questions

Is Aitho a Yoodli alternative?

For rehearsing and delivering a specific slide presentation, yes. Aitho works from your own deck, follows your voice through your script and advances your slides. For AI roleplays and scored speaking analytics, Yoodli is the more direct fit.

Does Aitho give feedback on filler words?

That is not Aitho's focus. Aitho helps you keep your place, move your slides and prepare answers to questions. Tools like Yoodli and PowerPoint Speaker Coach focus on delivery scores.

Can I practise audience questions in Aitho?

Yes. Ask a question out loud or type it, and Aitho drafts an answer from your deck and the documents you attach, shown only on your screen.
